I just realized...I think would-be fathers are told by fathers to overdo the gag reflex so the wife knows not just that you'd prefer not to change a diaper, but that it is almost impossible for you to change the diaper because you 1.) are extremely, physically uncomfortable doing it 2.) may vomit all over the baby or 3.) at least will vomit somewhere in diaper changing room. Once the false information has been planted, women may be chagrined but they are understanding of their husband's short-comings and allow them not to have to change nearly so many diapers as she will until the child is potty trained. Something to think about moms.

Angela's Ashes and More
I finally watched Angela's Ashes on Netflix instant (sorry, didn't read the book) as I'm recently interested in the history of Ireland and England as well as Scotland and Wales. Very interesting and of course, very, very difficult life for the McCourt family.
It was the thing that has finally inspired me on how to begin writing about my own life, especially if others might find it an interesting read. I'd say McCourt's life was, by far, worse than mine, yet I do think almost any person's life can be made into a wonderful story. I remember when People magazine was first published, I thought it was going to be about "real" people. But, alas, there is maybe one story per issue, if that, that is about a "real" person or family. The rest is about, of course, movie and television stars. Who cares?
So, here's to Angela's Ashes and Frank McCourt. Thanks for your help.
